GEOLUXE Pyrolithic Stone Surfaces

GEOLUXE Pyrolithic Stone Surfaces

There several unique materials on the market today that are being used for residential and business counters and work surfaces. These materials come in a variety of formulas and are being produced to mimic natural stone more and more each year. One such high quality, durable surface is GEOLUXE. This material is a new breakthrough material and can be cleaned with a variety of cleaners; depending on the type of stain that you are trying to remove. This page will briefly consider some of the guidelines for cleaning and removing stains from GEOLUXE surfaces.

What is GEOLUXE?

According to the GEOLUXE website, the material is described as:

"GEOLUXE® is a breakthrough Pyrolithic Stone™ combining the noble beauty of natural marble with superior technical performance. A complex mixture of 100% mineral-based materials formed through patented GeoMimicry™ technology, the slabs reveal realistic marble-like veins throughout."

So, the technology was developed to produce a realistic copy of marble without the weaknesses of the natural stone. The care and maintenance guide says the following:

"Do not use waxes, oily soaps, impregnating agents such as hydro-fluoric acid (HF), bleach or other treatments (hydro-oil repellent) on the product. If liquids are spilled, it must be dried immediately. The faster you clean and dry spills, the easier it is to remove stains."

As the above quote shows, care must be taken when using cleaners on GEOLUXE. Choosing the proper cleaners or detergent to remove stains or discolorations will help you keep the appearance of your new surface looking new for as long as possible.

What Do You Clean GEOLUXE With?

As mentioned above, these surfaces offer distinguishing characteristics. One of the main features of GEOLUXE, is that it can be cleaned with a variety of cleaners.
