Cleaning Kerlite Porcelain

Kerlite porcelain materials are very durable and relatively easy to maintain and clean. Yet, there are requirements when it come to removing tough dirt or other substances form the surface of the material. Kerlite in its care and maintenance documentation offers advice on what cleaners and removers to use on its products.

The care and maintenance guide for Kerlite also makes the following statement under what to use:

Wax-free neutral detergent... DO NOT use alcohol, acids, solvents, abrasive detergents, steel wool or scouring pads.

Choosing a detergent that is designed for use on Kerlite porcelain/ceramic is imperative so that cleaning the surface will be done in line with the Kerlite recommendation.
